Love Island’s Wes Nelson ‘is set to rake in £300,000 from club tour’…. while girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson ‘is on course to earn a whopping £2million’
He proved to be one of the more popular castmembers on the most recent season of Love Island, finishing in fourth place with his girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson.
And it has now been reported that Wes Nelson, 20, is set to rake in a whopping £300,000 from an exhaustive 56-date PA club tour across the nation as he cashes in on his success on the hit ITV2 reality show.
The news comes days after it was projected that his former glamour model girlfriend Megan, 24, will also earn big, with projections that her new career direction will see her pocket £2million as she signs a number of lucrative new deals.
Raking it in: Love Island hunk Wes Nelson is reportedly set to earn £300,000 from his 64-date PA club tour, which he is already in the midst of
A source told The Sun Online of Wes’s financial future: ‘He is one of the most in demand acts from Love Island due to his success on the show and his cheeky chap nature and will earn well into the six-figure sum from his PAs alone, and that’s ignoring any of the other branding endorsements he will also undertake.
‘He’s very likely to earn £300,000+ from his PA tour. In fact, Wes is so in demand that he is turning down appearances – most of his available dates have gone. Numerous brands are fighting to sign Wes up to big branding campaigns and endorsements.’
Wes, who jetted back to Mallorca last week for a booked appearance, revealed during Sunday night’s Love Island Reunion show that he has stepped away from his nuclear engineer job as new opportunities and offers roll in.
Power couple: The report comes after it was claimed that his girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson is on course to earn £2million as her popularity soars since exiting the Love Island villa

When host Caroline Flack enquired about his job, the musclebound hunk smiled as he responded: ‘About that… I’m just gonna see what opportunities there are other than my job and things.’
‘But I am enjoying it and I spoke to work and I think they are alright with me,’ he added. ‘I think they understand that I might not be coming back in a hurry.’
Meanwhile, it has been reported that his girlfriend Megan has been inundated with offers to model for a variety of brands, while she has also expressed a desire to launch her own fragrance and lipstick lines.
Popular: Shortly after leaving the ITV2 show, nuclear engineer Wes jetted back to Mallorca for a scheduled appearance
A source told the Daily Star last week: ‘Megan looks likely to be the biggest star to emerge from the series.’
In addition to reports of the Essex girl being courted to front an array of fashion campaigns, she’s also said to be in line to star in a 2019 pin-up calendar.
Megan has been open about her past as a glamour model and stripper, and recently hit headlines amid claims she worked as an escort.
However, the blonde beauty was quick to blast these reports on Loose Women – although she did admit to dating guys who were ‘older and wealthy’.
Controversial: The duo’s pairing on the show proved controversial, as Wes was coupled up with Laura Anderson, who at the time was seen to be a close friend of Megan
She said: ‘It’s just a small part of my life. Love Island has changed me – I’ve come out a stronger person and it’s time to move forward.
‘I was never an escort. I’ve done glamour modelling and webcam work, and I’ve dated guys who were older than me and wealthy, and guys who were younger than me who had no money, so I supported them.
‘I date all different guys. It’s not like I dated guys purposely because they’re wealthy. I’ve dated guys with no money.’
Reunited and it feels so good: On Friday, the couple reunited with their co-stars to make an appearance at the Love Island Live event, held at ExCeL London
