Brian Byun collected 26 service points and 11 aces to power the Lowell Catholic boys volleyball squad to a 3-1 win over Worcester North on Monday.

Elsewhere, Lowell blanked Billerica, 3-0, and Bishop Guertin got past Keene, 3-1.

Game scores were 25-18, 29-31, 25-16, 25-23.

Caleb Scott claimed 16 kills and 7 blocks for Lowell Catholic (7-6). Patrick McKenna also starred with 8 kills, 5 aces and 5 blocks.

The Red Raiders remained hot with their latest Merrimack Valley Conference victory.

Scores were 25-10, 25-13, 25-23.

Starring for Lowell (12-2) were Sokunbuth Ly with 7 kills and 5 blocks, and Pirak Som with 17 assists. Somal Teng and Eddie Olu also played good all-around games.

For Billerica, Tim Smiligis led the way with 4 kills.

Jack Wizboski excelled at the net with 15 kills, and added an ace, as the Cardinals rolled, 25-15, 20-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Connor Ogorchock claimed 9 kills and 2 aces, while Joe Noon added an ace, 6 kills and 2 blocks for BG (8-6).
